For those FLYERS fans who were fortunate enough to not witness the
FLYERS/Rangers game last night, here's an injury update:

Rick Tocchet and Mark Pedersen returned to the lineup last night. Did
Eklund play against Chicago Sunday? If not, he also returned last
night.

Hextall, Latal and Brad Jones are healthy but were scratched.

Keith Acton has either begun skating or is about to. I think the
same goes for Mark Howe, but don't quote me. Only those two and
Steve Kasper are considered to be injured at this time.

Bad performance by Rousell. When he's on (which is most of the time)
he's really ON, but when he's off (last night, for example) he's
really OFF. The defense didn't help him out much, but he would've
stopped at least two or three of those Ranger goals on a good day...

Yanick Dupre wore number 66, not because of Lemieux, it was given to him in Rookie camp.

Mark Howe told Gene Hart yesterday that he expects to be ready to
play in 3 weeks. If true, that would put him back in the lineup
1/9 vs. Los Angeles.

Dominic Rousell has the flu and is officially listed as a scratch,
but with Wregget starting to play better and Hextall back in the
lineup (Hextall was told he'd start either last night or Saturday
vs. Minnesota, and he didn't start last night...) I would have to
assume Rousell will be heading to Hershey as soon as he's healthy
enough to play.

If the person who keeps the NHL stats reads this, Mark Freer is a
center and Yanick Dupre is back to Hershey with little hope of returning
soon, so good luck finding out what his number was...
