Ken Hodge's goal at 10:14 of the third period thwarted host Hartford's
three-goal rally and gave Boston a victory. Boston's victory avenged it's 4-3
loss to Hartford the night before at the Boston Garden.

[my comment for B fans: what's with the 3rd period Boston defense lately:
1-0 vs. Montreal -- result 1-1 tie, 3-0 vs. Hartford -- result 3-4 loss, 3-0
vs. Hartford -- result 4-3 win. The tie is understandable since it was
a one goal lead, but two 3-0 leads with 4 & 3 unanswered goals. I imagine
it had something to do with last year's comeback by Boston in the playoffs.]
