The Complete List Of NHL Teams, Version 2
=========================================

Compiled by Michael A. Cuff (u910...@muss.cis.mcmaster.ca)

Here's a list of every NHL franchise. It begins in 1917, the first
season of the league, and covers all expansion, moves, renamings, etc.
For this version I've proofread and corrected a few mistakes, and added
information previous to 1926. Feel free to repost this list, or archive
it on web pages, ftp sites, etc. All I ask is that you maintain the list
in it's complete form.

The formatting is as follows:

F denotes a team folding at the end of the season
X denotes an expansion franchise
W denotes expansion from WHA
