I realize that Theo has a huge grude against anyone over 5'3 or 165lbs
but he is getting out of hand. His attitude needs serious adjusting.
His hit on Mike Gartner away from the play was pathetic. Gartner is too
old to combat injuries from cheep shots like Theo's.
That little pud will probably get away with it too. That little jerk
makes me sick. They should take players like him, Dale Hunter and
Claude Lemieux and really watch and "punish" them for their cheep play.
Jim
I figured there'd be somebody barking about how 'dirty' Theo is -- as
anyone who knows anything about Theo could tell you, James, Theo was not
intending to hurt Mikey, who is one of the nicest and most respected
plyers in the NHL, but sometimes shit happens. It's a rough game and no
penalty was even called on the play. Theo is one of the most competitive
and hardest working players in the NHL -- that's what REALLY pisses people
like you off, James. (Still bitter about giving up 3 SH goals, Pens fan?)
And as Theo said in response to questioning about the incident,
"Cheap shot, my ass."
Yeah but do you think those big players would draw a fight with a 5'6
player? It's a bit pathetic to beat up someone who is 8 inches +
shorter you know...
>as anyone who knows anything about Theo could tell you, James, Theo

Please, call me Jim. I don't doubt that he did Not intend to hurt
Mike. Theo is just an idiot is all. Theo should have enough hockey
smarts to know not to hit someone in the knee.
>who is one of the nicest and most respected plyers in the NHL
Off the ice yes, on the ice no. I've seen interviews with him and about
him. He appears to be a great guy in person. It is just that when he
gets on the ice he attempts to compensate for his size or something. He
throws elbows like nobody's business, does surgery with his stick and
loves to hit late.
>but sometimes shit happens.
I only wish two players would get pounded every game (Claude Lemieux and
Dale Hunter) but I think Theo might need a wake-up call soon. The only
reason it hasn't happened yet is probably because he is such a nice guy
off the ice and people would feel guilty
>It's a rough game and no penalty was even called on the play.
Rough and dirty are two different things. There was no 'origional' call
when Graves broke Lemieux's hand in 91 either, was that okay?
>Theo is one of the most competitive and hardest working players in the

No really, Jim plaese. I have no problem with hard work. I have a
problem with people that make their mark with questionable play.
>Still bitter about giving up 3 SH goals, Pens fan?
Actually I didn't see that game I guess because I don't know what you
are refering to.
>And as Theo said in response to questioning about the incident,
>"Cheap shot, my ass."
I'd like to refer back to my comment about Theo being an idiot at this
point. :)
