Maybe kinda like some basketball & football programs, overstated a bit
perhaps. Don't know exactly, but I saw Tiger 3 times in person from
just a few feet away and I'd guess 5'10 maybe. Wasn't thinking of how
tall he was at the time, but I don't think he's 6'.

The ESPN Sportszone has him listed at 6-foot-2 and 150 pounds.

Keep in mind, the ceremony was on the 18th green which has a pronounced
back to front slope which my have made the height differential seem a
little more than it really is. Still I think Faldo is taller than the 6'3"
he is listed at. I was surprised how much he dwarfed Greg Norman when they
embraced on the 18th green the previous year.

I was about 20 feet away from him watching him hit balls on the range at
the Buick Open. He can't be more than 5' 10" and 150. He's just a skinny kid.

Ernie Els, however, looks like a college football linebacker.
