Odd. Don't Dems also want to prosecute Americans for employing
illegals? Yes. Very strange.
Yes, the vast majority of Americans. You 1% American haters are
forced to hide behind anonymous mailers while the world passes you by.
Right-wing trashmeisters work "extra hard" to conceal their identities

They work even harder concealing the evidence to back up their claims.
Then again, rightwingers don't need evidence. In their minds, if someone
says it, it must be true. D'oh.

Not especially. After all, the Democrats did not in fact vote to give
illegal aliens unemployment insurance.
When was the last time you backed up any of the garbage you spew? Try

A good enema will help you righties avoid back-ups with all that garbage

What do I need to back up there? There was nothing posted to back up the

Oh, right....rightwingers never lie. D'oh.
"Mission Accomplished"
That's all the republicans know how to do......................
If you want to go after illegal aliens the way to do it is with a
comprehensive immigration bill. It doesn't accomplish anything to
merely harass them and try to make their life's miserable and pass
laws that are a pain in the neck for business and ordinary citizens
too.
The Republicans had 8 years to do something about it and like health
care, they did nothing: zilch, zero, nada, nil, naught, goose egg. In
fact, George Bush tried to give them amnesty.

Talk about working harder, the unemployment rate is now over 10%.
Jusy little extra because when a man or women is out work, it doesn't
really matter who's a Democrat or Republican.
So let the Democrats and Republicans tidy up their houses with more

I always favored amnesty along with a good fence and strict
enforcement. The problem is that both the Democratic party and the
Republican party actually like illegal immigration. So, what we would
probably wind up with is amnesty with no fence. Business likes illegal
immigration because of the cheaper labor and the Democrats like it
because of the votes. The only ones that don't like it is the
overwhelming majority of the American people which doesn't seem to
matter much.

Help with what? Giving money to illegals? You seem to be missing the
entire point here.

Look back to history, it built up over time, and it took many people to get

Those folks aren't even legally entitled to be in this country. The idea
that you'd suggest forcing U.S. citizens to give over their own money to
illegal foreign national lawbreakers is nuts.
Dems do not love illegals. They don't give a damn about them. What
they love is all the money they get from Big Business for supporting
illegals.

political polls have nothing to do with supporting your Government.
You may disagree with the President. Disprove of how he's doing his
job. But if you're an American, you realize that are the Government
and it is your duty as an American Citizen to support your
Government. Maybe a civics class would help you clear it up.

This is a value which is more popular with the Right than with the
Left. But it is a value which seems to be ignored when the other
party is in power. Maybe it just sounds as though it's ignored, and
the Right is hoping for the President's policies to succeed.

In crafting the Bill of Rights, the framers were careful to
acknowledge implicitly and explicitly two key truths:
The first is that government does not grant rights it acknowledges
them. They exist independently of government. They're part of who and
what we are. And, as Jefferson noted in the Declaration of
Independence, the only legitimate function of government is to secure
them.
The second is that government is a servant to whom we delegate powers,
not a master who dispenses privileges. The Constitution carefully
enumerates the powers we, the people, delegate to our government and
it specifically denies that government any powers not so delegated.
Our rights lie beyond the pale of that delegation. They are
sacrosanct. Any government which infringes upon them is engaged in an
intolerable usurpation.

A "right" as envisioned by the Founders meant that the government
was not permitted to interfere with your pursuit of them, i.e.,
your pursuit of happiness was to be unhindered by government.
The "right" of free speech means that government cannot interfere
with your free speech. The "right" of gun ownership means that the
government cannot infringe your gun ownership. What does "right"
to health care mean? It means that the government cannot stand in
the way of your pursuit of health care, or impede your
obtaining health care. The "right" to an attorney means that the
government cannot prevent you obtaining an attorney to represent
you.
Of course, "right" has incorrectly come to mean that someone must
supply you with something. If your "right" to housing means that
some slave must supply you with housing, and your "right" to health
care means that some slave must supply you with health care, and your
"right" to an attorney means that some slave must supply you with an
attorney, does your "right" to free speech mean that some slave must
supply you with a loudspeaker, or TV air time? Does your "right" to
own guns mean that some slave must supply you with guns?

I agree that when money is printed and spent by the same people, this
kind of corruption happens. If you are referring to such
governments as "socialism", you have a point. If you are just
referring to the other party - the one that spends the deficit
differently from your party, then your point is lost.
Do you have a proposal that you believe could work - separating out
the spending from the money printing? Maybe give up the power to
print money to some international body? Or do you prefer that we go
back to gold, and no more IOUs such as loans on paper?

I'd prefer to measure the education throughout one's life. The goal
isn't to have the best 6th grade test takers, the goal is to have the
best educated work force. So that's what should be measured.
There is probably a correlation between poor early education and
lifetime learning.
Let me try to answer this. The further decisions can be made from the
individual, the greater the corruption, cronyism and politics as
usual. An international body is further from individual control.
