I was told by a pro in Scottsdale that the Ruger facility(ies) simply
could not keep up with the titanium billet demand when the sales of
the GBBs took off so quickly. At least one, perhaps more, supplier
was found to take care of the added demand. Although the quality is
equal to the Ruger output, the clubs made with the alternate suppliers
raw material cannot be stamped with the Ruger name.
