Try dish soap (the kind you'd use if you were hand-washing the dishes) and a
brush. Rinse. Repeat.

Avoid the soaps with lanoline, of course.

Oops. I left this out:

Dish soap because it's made to break down grease and oils, like what's left
on your plate, or what gets built up, a little at a time, on your grips.

That's what I use, Dawn and a potato brush.

I did that for years but then i had a couple clubs where the grips
got really slick. Maybe it was caused by being close to the heater in
my car. Who knows. Anyway dish soap didn't help, but comet scouring
powder and some water and a good scrub brush did.

Personally I find a knife, fork and spoon separates my golf more from my plate :-)

Do you sell your car every time it needs to be washed?

ones..because I can! I can also fork out $3.00 for a new Star grip

So you get new grips every 10 - 20 years? I doubt even LBMHB waits that
long.

Some 409 and a heavy towel always worked for me.

Not that your grips ever wear out since you hardly play anymore.

No, kidding. What a bunch of cheap ba.... spend a couple of bucks on
some grips, grip tape and some solvent and regrip the clubs. All it
takes is an afternoon.
