Forget it. This man is a one time journeyman Aussie Pro. Somewhat eccentric, but
has a passion for developing what he hopes will be the next big thing in golf
'systems'. Some 10-15 years ago he was marketing (in Oz) a scheme based on the
idea that the golf swing was a 'push'. In Oz he called this system 'Natural
Golf'...but this should not be confused with the Moe Norman system of the same
name. He marketed the scheme to young teaching pros whereby they had to sell a
full series/package of lessons based on his latest theories. (I once saw him
demonstrating this scheme to a large group of pros who had travelled to the
Robina Woods Club in Queensland to see this 'latest' technique). From what I
hear, the 'theories' were rubbish and many young pros went broke. In those days
the guys were expected to pay (him) about $6k for their franchises plus a
sizeable percentage of any package sold. The 'packages' were sold in 'stepped
levels' at about $360 each and mainly comprised of a (poor quality) 'system'
program handbook and about 6 lessons each. Extraordinarily expensive lessons, I
would say!! I believe Peter moved on to America shortly after this to market his
schemes there.........Americans buy anything apparently!
Much earlier in his career Peter (he is now about 52 y.o.) wrote a very good
book (1987 - sponsored by Spalding)..called "Spalding's Better Golf - the
Fundamentals - ISBN 0-85091-288-1) with many excellent descriptive frame by
frame shots of well know Oz players eg. Mike Clayton, Ossie Moore, David Graham,
Greg Norman etc. He was also a proponent of the so called 'Runyon' method of
putting. This was the last time I was aware that his teachings made any sense at
all!
He once had a theory that the downswing was something similar to the action of a
bowman whipping an arrow from a quiver on his back. His contemporaries on the
pro circuit in Oz relate stories of him practicing this action as he walked down
fairways in competition...it looked very odd indeed. Another story on him comes
to mind. At one tee, when waiting for the fairway to clear it became obvious the
Peter Crocker had 'disappeared'. Someone went searching for him and found him
practically naked behind some bushes. It seemed that he was wearing 'long john'
underwear, expecting a cold day. Oz summers of course are 'very' hot...so he
just 'had to' remove some clothing while he had the chance! It is a good job
there were not too many televised events in Oz in those days! I wonder if he
still wears the very baggy wide, flat golf hat, something like Hogan's, but
bigger! You could easily find him on a golf course because of this hat!

Puttster and David gave you good information.
I had dealings with Croker and Jeffery Johnson some years back ('95?).
I wrote their original Key to Golf web site. The Natural Golf name
was taken in the U.S., so the two went with Key to Golf.
Croker was the salesman and the man with the contacts. Jeffery
Johnson was a rich guy and knew a lot about putting together learning
systems. Before their split, the two put together a very handsome
book (Key to Golf: The Hit) and some videos. They are well written
and produced.
I was paid for my web work with a free Key to Golf school in Florida.
The system is an uncock "under" push of the club. Compelling, but
inaccuarate and poison to any golfer.
Peter Croker is a con-man. Jeffery Johnson is legit, but still
searching for the grail.

Check out Martin Green, he used to work for Croker and has his own
video. Good stuff.
