There are many fine shafts, the real chore is finding one that is well
suited to YOUR swing. The Proforce 65 is a fine shaft and is well liked by
many. It's relatively low torque, mid/high bend point, and relatively tip
stiff. You mention not being a big hitter. If your swing speed is say 90+,
and if you don't have trouble with a trajectory that is already too low, the
R flex version should be fine. It's really not the best choice for someone
with slower swing speeds looking for increased height and more of a "kick"
feel. Only trial and error or a good clubfitter could really tell you if
this is a good shaft for you. It is a quality shaft, however.

You don't mention what flex.........FWIW you should note that C8/9 is a tad
on the light side, especially with a stiff shaft, and you may be
disappointed with the 'feel'. The 65 gram shaft, coupled with the titanium
head, will result in a club with quite a light overall weight.......which
will take some getting used to. I used a stiff Proforce 65 with a GBB head
at D0...and I really could not hit the ball very well at all, because of the
ultra light weight and resultant lack of 'feel'. I just could not 'feel' the
clubhead at all in the swing.

Before you buy.
i've got the proforce 65 in a 10 degree 330cc titanium head. my theory
on driver shafts is to first start as long as possible. if you can't
hit it, trim a 1/2" or 1" off and then see if you can hit it. keep
trimming until you can hit it. i stuck the shaft in and didn't butt or
tip trim it. i can hit it pretty well at 47". with a slower swing
speed, a lighter but longer driver will give you more distance. the
only question is whether or not you can control it. the proforce is a
good shaft. the specs are better than the grafalloy shafts and the
proforce shafts are cheaper. the only problem that you may encounter
with the shaft is that it has a mid to high kick point which will make
the shaft seem stiffer and deader (is that a word?) and possibly hit the
ball lower.

I hit the ProForce Gold 75--stiff flex 44" a few times. I found it really
stiff, though it hit a nice low trajectory, even when I tried to hit it high.
My driver swing speed, when I'm on balance is 115 mph.
I understand that the lighter Proforce Gold 65 might have been a little easier
to swing.
