TW donates his entire winning purse?

While I was watching the coverage today, I think Jim Nanz said that
TW's donating his entire purse to some foundation or charity. I'm
sure he still gets to write that off and it may be chump change for
him, but I thought it still was a very generous thing to do.

Has any other pro golfer to date done something similar donating his
or her entire winnings to some cause?

Payne Stewart donated his entire winning check at Bay Hill to the
hospital in memory of his father, if I recall correctly.

Charitable donations are tax deductible for now.

Many years ago Nick Faldo donated his entire winnings from a tournament at
Wentworth (�100,000 if my memory serves me) to a children's charity.

Colin Montgomerie also did it when it was thought he may have cheated in a
tournament he won. Improperly replaced his ball after a rain delay

So you don't pay taxes on the million dollars you give away. That
means it only cost you half of that depending on how good your tax
lawyers are.
