I am the owner of a left handed ping anser putter which is some 27 years old
and have been told because it has pheonix on the back and not karsten it is
of some value, ? is this true.
on the insert at the back it has printed as follows
no 0207227 others pend
PHEONIX. ARIZONA
KARSTEN 85029 MFG. CORP

If anyone can throw some light on this please email me @

It might be worth a bit, but I believe the older Phoenix putters
say "KARSTEN CO" not "KARSTEN MFG CORP".

Now, the fact that it's left handed and that I putt pretty well with
anser-style putters ... hmm ... naw. ........

Anyway, check out www.pongman.com. It looks like a "029" Anser can
be had for $200-300. But the lefty might be worth more, I dunno. Ask
"The Pong Man."
