Since no one out there seems to have done much with the Robertson
Grip, I would like to add my 2 cents worth. I have been using the
grip for about a year and a half and play very infrequently.

I was about a 50 handicap if they allowed such a thing, and have

taken about 25 strokes off my game. I prefer it to a regular
grip. I find it easier to get the ball airborne and I hit the
ball about the same distance as before just more consistently.

I took some lessons from Scotty, but it took me quite a while
to get the nack of hitting the ball his way. Now I deffinetly
prefer it.

I also watched Scotty hit some after my first lesson. He was hitting
them to the back fence of a driving range which was about 375 yards.

I like it, but I have found that it has taken some time before I
began to get the grip to work for my short game. Now I even use
the grip for putting sometimes

If this grip were so effective, then why is there not a single professional
golfer anywhere on the planet using it?

As for your friend hitting 375 yard drives with it, I'd suggest you get your
gullibility meter calibrated. If he hit a ball past a sign that said 675,
would you believe that, too?

Rene,

Thank you for replying to my post about Scotty Robertson's
Grip. I have talked to Scotty's clubmaker on the phone
since I've made my first post about Scotty. He verifies
that Scotty can hit the ball as he says he can. When I get
a chance to come to AZ I'm going to go see Scotty to see
for myself.

Steve

You sound like a Scammer/Spammer , whenever some one asks you what the
'Scotty grip' thing is about you reroute the question. YOU wont answer
anything, Your Email address is TRITHEBEST so you are obviously selling
something. and you want us to email this Scotty person..IE give him your
email address so he can add your email to his Spam software and sell the
list to other people in the Spam business.

Matt,

I'm just a beginner with the Robertson Grip method. If
someone has a question about the grip the person who
invented the grip would be the one that I would want to
have answer my questions. E-mails don't cost you anything
so I'm not selling anything. My only purpose in my original
post was just to try to find someone using this grip, it
would be helpful to me to know what their experiences
converting to the Robertson Grip were. If my post has
someone interested in the method don't you think it would
be better for someone to have their questions answered by
the expert and not a beginner like myself? As for my e-mail
address being trithebest that comes from me wanting to
actually to try the best of anything that I do. This is the
first time that I've had to explain my e-mail address, It's
elementary to me why someone chooses the e-mail address
that they have. You are making a mountain out of a mole
hill.

So Steve, since you have Robertson's e-mail, did you e-mail him and ask him to
get you in touch with other people using his grip? No doubt he would know
better than anyone and may even be able to locate someone in your own
neighborhood who is using the grip. This way you could find someone to exchange
Scotty Robertson videos and stories with without causing some of us to mistake
your zealousness as marketing subterfuge. I'm sure Scotty would appreciate it
too. As you note, he is trying to gain support in a grassroots effort, and no
doubt he would be shocked to think some are forming a negative opinion of him
and his grip because your enthusiasm rings a little too much like spam to some.
