I went and checked out Wilson's website, but I coulnd't find any info on them.
Has anyone ever played with these before? Are these considered to be cast
cavity back or forged cavity back? Does anyone know when these came out? And
any information about them would be appreciated.

clubs aren't considered to be cast or forged. they either are or they
aren't. if you are defining blades it's much more of a grey area.

i don't really know about the clubs your asking about specifically. but i
will say it should be relatively easy to tell if the are cast (stainless)
or forged (carbon steel) just by having a good look at them especially if
they are used. i know all cast clubs aren't stainless nor all forged carbon
steel but it's a fair enough approximation here.

Well, seeing as how this is not a binaries group, can I trouble you by emailing
you a close up pic of them and have you take a look at it? It is about 60KB
though. If it's too much of an imposition, I'll perfectly understand. TIA.

I used to play these irons. They are cavity back, bast clubs. The
Ultra45 is due to the 45 degree angle of the cavity. They were
introduced about 5 to 7 yrs ago. Half were stolen from my garage. I
have an incomplete set. I currently play x12 ProSeries.

sure. i'm not sure if the resolution will be good enough to pick it up but
it's worth a try. give me a look at the face of the most worn iron, also
the sole of the same iron (probably sw). a look at the cavity of any club.
if i can't figure it from the picture, take a couple to any decent pro and
they'll be able to tell you in about 2 seconds.

Heh, I guess I won't have to bother you with it since I see Mr. Pitts have
replied to my post. Thanks, though for volunteering. Take care.

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune. But thanks for your timely info.

Write to Wilson at in...@golf.wilsonsports.com . I had some questions about a
set of clubs (lofts and lies) some time back and they were very helpful.
