I'm looking at putting together an iron set (well, selecting the
components and getting someone to put them together for me). I'm
thinking about the Henry Hatton DTG-4 from DiamondTour. The problem is
I can't really find much in the way of reviews.

Has anyone here had anything to do with Henry Hatton forged iron
heads, or know a friend of a cousin of your father in law who had
some?

From the website, they LOOK as good as Techpower, Maltby, Wishon etc,
but I know enough not to believe everything I see or read on a sales
webpage. (Does this also apply to RSG??

Anyway, any views would b appreciated.

I see no answer. Not surprised. Most here do not even play golf.

Well, Brendo, I have the Henry Hatton DTG-1 irons, and they are
superb. A lower trajectory, the ability to work the ball, and a feel
that, as Justin Leonard used to say in an old Ben Hogan iron
commericial, goes from your hands up your arms and into your soul.
They are a throwback club, like the irons from the 50-60's, and you
have to know how to hit them. But once you get it, they are as good
as they come, expecially considering the price.

Thankyou The Ferg.

They don't seem to be overly popular though, it is tough finding info
out on them. What drew you to them (apart from price)?

I have a set of the Hatton DTG-5 forged cavity backs, left handed, and they play very well. They are a soft feeling fairly forgiving iron and the cost was very reasonable for a forged club head.
