Lot's going on with WildCardSports.com this week as we have launched 4
new NFL contests for the upcoming season: Beat the Best, Ring the
Bell, Football Survivor, and our NFL Office Pool. I encourage you to
check them out if you are looking for some great NFL action this year.

NFL Beat the Best: For the 3rd straight year, Wild Card Sports.com
presents our handicappers contest, Beat the Best. This year Beat the
Best will be bigger and better than ever. You can again play for
free, or play for big prizes. How will you do in our Hilton-style
online contest? Beat the Best is simple, just pick 5 NFL games
against the spread each week and see how you fare against the rest of
the league. At the end of the 17 week regular season we take the top
16 teams and play a tournament-style playoff system that runs parallel
with the actual NFL playoffs right up to the Super Bowl. To win this
thing, you really do have to Beat the Best! Play for free all year
long with the chance to win some great prizes, or play for the really
big prizes! The link for Beat the Best is:

Ring the Bell: New to Wild Card Sports.com this year is another
handicappers challenge, Ring the Bell. This contest doesn't pit your
wits at picking NFL games, but picking NFL totals. That's right,
Over/Unders. Not sure what we are talking about, then check out the
rules and get all the information. Ring the Bell will play out just
like Beat the Best with the pinnacle being a 16 team tournament-style
playoff system that runs parallel with the NFL playoffs. Just like
Beat the Best, you can play for free all year long or play for the
really big prizes. The link for Ring the Bell is:

Survivor Football: New to Wild Card Sports.com this year is our very
own Survivor Football contest. These contests are rapidly becoming a
favorite amongst NFL fans, and ours will be no different. Pick one
NFL team each week to win, straight-up, no spreads and you move on.
The only catch is that one you have chosen a team once, you can't use
them the rest of the year. This is a $25 entry fee contest, with the
winner taking it all. We won't collect a dime from this one, and
actually will lose a few bucks on the PayPal fees, but that's ok...it
will be a blast to see who is the ultimate survivor? The link for
Survivor Football is:

NFL Office Pool: I was asked to participate in Jen Hamilton's NFL
Office Pool 3 years ago and have been hooked on it ever since. This
past offseason I offered to post it up on Wild Card Sports.com and
spread the word to make this years Pool bigger than ever. The neat
thing about the NFL Office Pool is that you can play all year long for
the growing pot of money at the end. And best of all, we drop your
worst two weeks games. So instead of playing in Weirdo Joe's office
pool from accounting, signup for the best office pool, our own NFL
Office Pool. Check out the link at:

Even if you aren't the contest kind of person, I would suggest that
you check out Wild Card Sports.com (www.wildcardsports.com) when you
get a chance. We've got some great articles on fantasy football this
year, including analysis from our mock drafts, debates on players to
choose in your draft, actual auction values (from our own auction
league), goldsheet rankings, and much much more. In the upcoming
weeks and months we are going to be doing mock drafts for fantasy
basketball and this winter, fantasy baseball. You can participate in
these, just by emailing us that you would like the chance to mock.
This winter, the McFreditor College Bowl Pool will be back for it's
4th season. If you are a college football fan, you don't want to miss
out on that one. Ranking all of the college football bowl games with
your winners.

The Truth Commissioner has posted his 10 Fantasy Football Dirty Tricks
(http://www.wildcardsports.com/TruthCommish/10dirtylittletricks.htm)
article to keep you on top of the standings in your league.

Like putting wagers on football, we've got Live Lines, and a great
Early NFL Betting Guide
(http://www.wildcardsports.com/TruthCommish/04nflpropguide.htm) by the
Truth Commissioner. Can the Arizona Cardinals win more than 5 games
this year? That is the question. Check out the guide for our
opinion.

Don Pinchin will be back again this year with his prognasticator
articles for the NFL. Don is a regular in our NFL Beat the Best
contest and he explains his picks all year long. Don't worry we'll be
keeping the tabs on how Don is doing.

Our NFL Beat the Best and Ring the Bell contests are great guides to
see who the consensus plays are for each week. We have the top plays
posted right on our front page each week by Saturday morning so that
you can reference these picks.

Fantasy Basketball got you excited already, check out Josh Smith's
Eastern Confernce preview, and soon to be posted his Western Confernce
Preview.
