NFL 1999 pre-season game in Sydney, Australia

NFL superbowl champions the Denver Broncos will play the San Diego Chargers
at Olympic Stadium in Homebush, Sydney in August 1999. One of the organisers
is Sydney Swans chairman Richard Colless.

Darren Bennet, the former Melbourne Demon player, is the only Australian
playing NFL, and he will be here promoting NFL and of course playing for the
Chargers. It should attract a very big crowd, over 100,000, and will be a
very exciting event, especially in the newly built stadium. A great showcase
for NFL in Sydney!
