The Birds have two tough? games against the Packers and the Skins
then a bye and then what should be three easy games until the
next bye (Chicago, NY Giants, and somebody else who I don't remember).
If we at least split with the Packers and Skins (or sweep), and crush
the 3 games after, we'll be somewhere around 5-1 recordwise going into
the second bye.
That's not too bad. Plus, if Buffalo pays back Dallas for the SB loss,
Dallas will start 0-2 in the hole.
Division wise, the Skins, Giants, and Cardinals don't seem to be that
much tougher than the Eagles. Dallas will also be worn down as everyone
picks up their game to play them.
IMHO, the Eagles have a good shot at making the playoffs. I also don't
really care about what all the pundits are saying about them. There's
been so much DallASS kissing going on, I'm sick of their moronic
predictions which almost never come out correct anyway.
(Also, even if our defense is weaker, if we have a solid ground game
that eats up the clock and keeps the opponents' offense off the field,
our defense might not have to be dominating - although if we had both,
that would be nice. Just my homer opinion.)

Thank you very much.

That's an understatement. From week one to Week 13 The Eagles
have to travel (other than the puddle jumps to NJ and DC)
twice, Once to Green Bay and once to Pheonix. They'll be well
rested for those later games.
