I haven't heard anything about the 'New Jersey Jets', but on a related
note, I did see Mayor Guliani (sp?) on the Today show talking about
how much he would like to have a football team in NYC proper.
I caught the interview in the middle; perhaps they were discussing
the 'renaming' of the Jets. I'm a big Jets fan (originally from
Long Island). I don't know if I could handle that name :-)

Go Bills!!!!
Just call them the New York Nets
Let's get this straight once and for all.
TRUE, the Jets play their games in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
However, ALL of their business (executive offices, camps, etc.) is held
and conducted in NEW YORK (mainly in Hempstead).
WHICH is much more than I can say for the New "York" GIANTS.
IN ANY CASE, I think it's high time that NEW JERSEY actually came up with
a major professional sports team of their own INSTEAD OF TRYING TO STEAL
ALL OF NEW YORK'S (and Colorado's if you're a Devils fan).
What was that? The NEW JERSEY GENERALS of the USFL? Oh, and don't
forget the NEW JERSEY ROCKIN' ROLLERS of the RHL.
<smile> sorry, new jersey, but i finally had to get that out.
By the way, isn't buffalo in canada? <g>
The rest of New York would probably recognize buffalo if it weren't for
the 4 straight....um.... you know....
I remember it as if it was yesterday, when the bills couldn't even BUY a
win in the regular season, and then came their savior in the form of Jim
Kelly.
Nice 3 points, yesterday.
Typical JETS defense, though.
Go NEW YORK JETS!
