The Washington Redskins have a three-year, $4.2 million offer on the
table for Johnston, which will make him the highest paid fullback in
NFL. Hopefully he'll take the offer this week.

He has not signed with Washington at this point. The current offer is 3 yrs, 4.2 million
dollars.

John, Tom Rathman is a free agent. I just heard him interviewed on KNBR
radio in SF. He said the Redskins (among other teams) had been talking
to him.
