Well, Texas quarterback Peter Gardere did what he does best - beat OU.
I don't much care for Gardere because were it not for his momentum
killing interceptions, Texas would be 5-0 and in the top 10. Just
before the half, he tossed an interception when they were leading 17-10.
Great! Here we go again. Fortunately, the UT defense was outstanding
and the game was not nearly as close as the score would suggest.
If they continue to play like this, the SWC race will be decided when
the 11-0 Aggies roll into memorial stadium to take on the 8-2 Longhorns.
Wishful thinking? Maybe.... but it's possible!!!
