Seriously, if you took Ampere or Amboy or whatever the fsck that town
is in that movie, and made it Odessa High; and then made the archrivals
Permian; and then left the movie set in the 80s, but the late 80s, for
the oil bust; you'd pretty much have all the same ingredients. Well,
except that the new movie would have a lot of Spanish spoken in it.
