I took me forever to come up with any guesses after #2, and guesses 3 and 4
were wild guesses trying to find letters. Guess 4 clicked it. Lesson
learned: I don’t know much about college football.

Today I played it like it was ordinary Wordle for the first three guesses in order to narrow down the list of potential letters used, and then made my final guess more cfb related. In fact, I might have made my same fourth guess even in ordinary Wordle.

Got it on the last one today. This thing is too Southern oriented. I'm guessing Mason was from former Auburn player Tre Mason and not coach Glen Mason.

Like yesterday, I played this one like it was a regular Wordle and guessed words that helped determined the letters in the solution and not really guessing anything football related. In fact, I couldn’t even figure out what the solution had to do with cfb after googling.

Well, the first one I did (Aubie) was a nickname for Auburn fans. I think Roary is the mascot for FIU and Monty was the old mascot for San Diego State. Otherwise, just coaches' names it seems like.

I'm sure its partly me, not knowing WTF Roary and Monty represents, but yeah the coaches names seems dumb as well unless they are legendary which I guess that depends on perspective. Really the issue is probably the fact that they have to find 5 letter words related to the limited subject of CFB. It's hard to think of much else than what they have.

Well FWIW my opening guess is usually Hokie. The day it was Aubie my second
to last guess was Aggie. Block is also a guess I use to find letters. There
are words out there…

But as soon as I realized it will take non-CFB related words and I could
use normal Wordle guesses to narrow it down I lost interest tbh.

Yeah I play cfbordle like it’s regular Wordle. The nba version poetl is good in that it’s specifically for nba, but you have to know the current league pretty well to have a chance.

well I went to poetl and it's not at all like wordle. It's a guessing game and even with the silhouette I have no idea. I couldn't even name the teams in Portland's division. I bet 10 year olds would be really good at it.
