2004 Wonderlic Scores
Below you will find the Wonderlic scores for all
players who attended the NFL Combine. The Wonderlic
test is a mental aptitude test used by NFL teams and
many other industries to measure general
aptitude/intelligence.
The test has 50 questions that must be answered in
12 minutes, and the score is the total number of
correct answers. The questions get progressively
more difficult and *very* few people finish all 50.
The average score in the United States is 22, and
Wonderlic, Inc., says that a score of 10 is the
lowest score at which a person can be considered
literate. Only one player, former Bengals punter and
Harvard graduate Pat McInally, is known to have
scored a perfect 50, in 1975. Utah State WR Kevin
Curtis came close a year ago when he scored a 48.
This year's top score was produced by Iowa DT Jared
Clauss with a 45. Two former Duke transfers,
Delaware DE Shawn Johnson (42) and Georgia TE Ben
Watson (41), were not far behind.
Below is a complete listing of scores for all
players who took the test at this year's combine,
and at the bottom are scores for some current and
former NFL QBs:

Extracting FSU and Miami(I've already seen these, I just thought it was
interesting):
FSU:
Jones, Greg Florida State 25
Sam, P.K. Florida State 21
Emanuel, Kevin Florida State 17
Dockett, Darnell Florida State 17
Boulware, Michael Florida State 24
Pope, Kendyll Florida State 18
Samuels, Stanford Florida State 22
Brown, Rufus Florida State 12
Miami:
Payton, Jarrett Miami (Fla.) 12
Winslow, Kellen Miami (Fla.) 12
I have to stop here to note how ironic it is that the fuckin' solja might
not even get a high enough ASVAB to be accepted into the military.
Beard, Kevin Miami (Fla.) 15
Carey, Vernon Miami (Fla.) 18
Wilfork, Vince Miami (Fla.) 10
Vilma, Jonathan Miami (Fla.) 23
Williams, D.J. Miami (Fla.) 21
Taylor, Sean Miami (Fla.) 10
Now, I'm not sure what's worse, Miami's dumb players, or the fact that FSU
has lost so many to them that I feel the need to point it out.

I call your attention to two things:
1. One BCS conference averages more a whole point higher than every
other BCS conference. I wonder which BCS conference that is.
2. The scores from the three schools the ACC will be adding.

CONCLUSION: The Big Ten is well-known as the far most over superior
acedmic conference in college football. Previously, it was assumed that
Michigan was responsible for this dominance. Clearly, however, it is the
Penn States and Northwesterns and maybe Purdues that are pulling up the
acedmic prestige from the football mills at Michigan and Michigan State.

Paranoid Dehumanized Narcissist
Remove the woopitywoo, you moron.
Gee, a Glapski wannabe. And he actually thinks the Wunderlick means
something. Go figure.
Scor(42-7)ebo(49-14)ard.
Sincerely,
Michigan State
Who the hell is Glapski?
Another paranoid dehumanized narcissist who still thinks Penn St. is
relevant in college football.

What the hell are you talking about, Einstien?
The funy thing is, can you imagine the laff riot (at the expense of
tOSUck) that would break out if they were ever to administer the
Wunderlic (en masse) to the entire student bodies of Ohio State and
Penn State?
I mean, never mind a Wunderlic showdown featuring OSU v. Michigan, or
OSU v. Illinois, or even OSU v. Michigan State. OSU would get smoked
on the Wunderlics by freaking Penn State.
Archie Leach
And who the hell was Wunderlic?
Archie Leach
Two years ago, tOSU had ten more players on the Big Ten All-Academic Team
than any other school. For those who missed it, that was the National
Championship team.
Without looking, I'm willing to bet they blew everyone away in 2003 as
well, including THE Academic All-American of the year, Craig Krenzel,
winner of the academic equivalent of the Heisman.

...who had the good sense to get the hell out.
As far as the inflated Academic stuff, it doesn't apply to Krentzel. The guy
is brilliant, intellectually speaking.
Dave
No disagreement here Dave. Krentzel is a great example of what an athlete
can do with his free education. You don't get that kind of degree without
being excellent academically. Reminds me of Stephan Humpheries who
received a mechanical enginneering degree during my time at UM.

Well, sure, it's easy when you can just walk out of tests and still
pass classes to keep that GPA up....
How many of those credits TRANSFER to other schools...?
less then you think...
Chris C.
That would be "fewer" than you think, Wolvie. And for the record, how many
of you would like to see college athletes running around NOT being aware of
the perils of AIDS? As for Golf, it's just a phys ed course like any
other. At a helluva lot of schools, it fulfills the phys ed requirement.
Something has to, doesn't it?
Milo X.

Go Blue!
I can't say for other schools...but I know at some, they DO take pride
in academic integrity. It's not completely alien at all colleges.
Even if the press likes to make it seem that way.
Chris C.
You do know most institutions of higher learning no longer have 'gym',
don't you?
And if you walk out of the class on Golf during the midterm, I hope
you fail that one too.
Check and see on some former football players, and the "football
eligible" classes they're taking, that's not transfering. Or wait to
read about it.
