Are there any other disc wielding superheroes?
And would anyone be interested in a Captain America shield disc?
tiu.com's few cents:
Since the oldest known "disc like throw toy" is the Buck Rogers paper
pie plate (pre Pluto Platter ).....I think Buck Rogers gets the first
super hero crown.
Needless to say, there are currently no existing ultimate superheros
on this planet we call Earth.
If there were such wonderful beings Toad "ulticritic" Leber would
obviously be feeding the fishes in the Atlantic ocean.

I don't know about anyone before Captain America, since didn't he
first start to fight the commies? But other disc or disc like
superhero's:
Xena Warrior Princess (a disc like object that has a hollowed out
middle)
Batman (his bat Boomerang)
Zelda (threw his sword which came back to him)
Guile from Street fighter (his energy attack is a roating strike of
energy that rotates like a disc)
I guess the last three are pushing it but Xena definitly wheels a
disc.

Xena's chakra or whatever it was called was more like an Aerobie.
Also there were those discs in "Tron" where Jeff Bridges was basically
playing Guts -- but to the death (while trapped inside of a sort of
giant video game).

Thanks for your input guys.
Batman's gonna get a ton of D's, but Xena can jump like a
motherfucker. Zelda's a big X factor.

By coincidence, Tron 2.0 is coming out a year from now ... the
trailers feature the light cycles rather than the discs of death, but
here's a video clip from the original Tron, the discs start appearing
around 2:39 in.
