While I sit here in upstate New York, jealous of all hell of all those
teams goin to Nationals, I figure best I can do is make some crazy
predictions and try to get some chatter goin.

1- Bodhi will finish in the top 8.... yes I may be putting too much
faith in the new boys on the Massachusets map, but I really like them.
They have an absurd amount of Junior Worlds talent, Micah, Andrew,
Miles (who is a beast and a huge loss for Slow White) and other just
flat out ballers. They are going to turn heads with that focused
offense and intense D.
2-GOAT does not make it past pre-quarters. I was high on them in NE
Regionals, but on the Nationals level this year not as much.
Chesepeake was rough on the boys from Toronto. They may have been
short some of their best, but I'm just not sure they have it all
together like last year.
3- Chain Lightning is this season's GOAT. I can see these boys playing
deep into the weekend. Zip and Co are def ready to rumble and I would
love to be checking score reporter and seeing them in Finals, but they
will prob fall to
4- Sockeye or Bravo will make a return to Finals... Bravo bein less
likely. Sockeye is ready to defend, but Ironside is sooo much stronger
than Boston Ultimate was last season.
5- Ironside brings the crown back to the East Coast
6- Neither Slow White nor Shazam make it to quarters- both teams had
rough seasons compared to last year and Slow White lost a whole lot of
old standards to Ironside, Bodhi, Etc.
7- No one will party like Bashing Pinatas did last year

Rip me apart, debate with me... Lets talk Ultimate

Chain Lightning was also Last Season's GOAT, and the Season Before
That's GOAT. Guys were quarters last year, and semis the year
before. They are not to be taken lightly.

These are BOLD predictions? That perhaps the 1 or 2 seed
(presumptive) will make the finals? And that the 3 seed also has a
good shot? I like hearing myself talk too, dude, but I get bolder
flavor from a KFC mashed potato bowl.

Listen, all those herbs and spices on the chicken HAVE to be tamed
when it comes to the mashed potatoes. I don't know about you but it's
a party in my mouth when I deliver a sporkful of that fatty goodness.

As for (open) nationals... Revolver vs. Ironside final.

GOAT doesn't make it as far as Bodhi, who they beat 14-7 at regionals?

That game cannot be counted as part of the record because it had no
meaning at all. Both teams had already made nationals and so it did
not matter who won. By being present in that game that made nationals.
Looking at the previous matchups- 15-7 GOAT at Cazenovia- early season
but certainly a strong win for GOAT. However if you look at the Boston
Invite results- 12-10 GOAT- significantly closer game and not all that
much later. Regionals- GOAT won both by at least 5, so yes they have
the record on their side. I cannot deny it. However, I think that
Bodhi is only getting better as the season goes along because it is
more time they played together. First year team, the later in the
season the better for them. I see Bodhi pusing through and turning
some heads at nationals. Maybe I am nuts, but I just feel like itll
happen. I hope both teams do well, the better they do more likely the
NE keeps these 4 bids.
