last point of the JOJAH/middlebery game, which i assume he was
watching on some video replay, was a goal.
i'll assume that none of the usau bod "regulars" will be touching that
one with a ten foot pole. cause, you know, what would they say.
BUT, to answer pepe, heres a list of reasons.......
the sport of ultimate is too stupid to get refs(or allow their
observers to activley make the call)
the JOJAH guys cheated
the middlebury guys didnt call em out on it
the JOJAH reciever "didnt know it was his responsibility to honestly
call that "catch" down himself" (i know.....what a crock, eh)
the middlebury team trusted that the jojah players had a complete
understanding of what sotg is and how it works.
no usau official went back to right the wrong although I'M SURE they
were well aware that the JOJAH guy fessed up to long time company boy
kyle w that he in fact DIDNT MAKE A LEGEL CATCH.
what i dont really understand is how usau has overtly IGNORED this
intentional act of cheating and has done nothing to create the
possibility for the game to be protested.......and possibly replayed.
although in this instance i think usau has grounds to simply strip
that victory from JOJAH...........AND EVEN SUSPEND THEIR TEAM since
the "catch" was an admitted drop by the reciever himself. surely
thats somthing that will scare the reputation of this sport more than
2 fields getting a little muddy, right?
and on top of that he and his whole team covered up the drop with
their post "catch" celebration.......FOR SHAME JOJAH........i cant
believe you guys havent already publically appologized to the ultimate
community for both abusing and tarnishing the foundation of what this
sport was built on.

cmon yall, this guy asked a legit question and NOT ONE OF YOU ARE
GONNA BOTHER TO ANSWER HIM. i guess by doing so youde have to accept
that sotg is a crock of shit.........so, yea, better to avoind the
subjest all together

IT WAS A BLATENT ACT OF CHEATING AS THE JOJAH player told kyle w that
he "knew he didnt catch it legally" from the get go.
this is the crux of what sotg is all about people......honor and
integrity. THAT PLAYER knew he was bound by the sotg to make the
honest and correct call but when the opportunity presented itself for
him to resort to human nature and slime his way out of that drop he
took full advantage.
oh yea, sotg took a big hit that day. what i dont understand is why
usau is trying to sweep this under the rug. DIDNT IT HAPPEN ON THEIR
WATCH. so wouldnt the prudent thing to do be to open up the case and
expose those that abused and tarnished the ideal of sotg. i mean, how
does ignoring it help in the slightest.
and its clear from jojahs "justification" that they STILL HAVENT
LEARNED anything from this incedent........other than to not take
responsibility and face the music but rather justify and rationalize
such an overt act of cheating.
IS ANYBODY BUYING JOJAHS BULLSHIT?
