I was just watching that catch on the ESPN site and started
looking at the comments and saw that Frank guy has decided
to hijack the ESPN comment board during ultimates greatest
publicity moment ever to trash the game and push his
dischoops agenda. Then I come back here and find Ulticritic
still has nothing better to do with his life then create
tireless rants on RSD.

Seriously, ulticritic...we've already established that you
aren't serious about your reform for the game because you
spend infinitely more time on message boards than using
efficient appropriate channels to bring change...you're just
a pathetic loser that rants on message boards because there
is no other replacement for pleasure in your life...get a
fucking dog or something.

Frank if you don't like ultimate, thats fine...go away.
Hijacking the ESPN comment board to trash ultimate and
promote dischoops is like crashing your ex friends wedding
in a nonsensical drunken stumble and flipping tables over
because he found success a beautiful bride and prospects of
success, while everyone else looks at you and pitifully
mutters "poor guy, he really needs to seek help".

Why did this need to be a thread? E-mail/message them
privately and it accomplishes the same thing.

i never established that.......so i dont know who this "we" is you are
talking about. either way, yours is not to ask(or even wonder) why i
do what it do. i happen to think that my rants help to bring about
said change. also, i think this little "rant" of yours is just a
distraction so that you dont have to allow yourself to face the many
truths i spew concerning this sport......and its many shortcomings
------------------------------------------------------------------

..you're just

but wouldnt it make you an even bigger pathetic loser to get on the
same message board and rant about my rants........or at least just as
big of one?

i got two already........and to tell ya the truth, dogs are over

I guess you already forgot our previous exchange...you have
so many active threads with so many users, I don't blame
you.

I told you that I think you have a lot of valid points, I'm
not a spirit zealot...I challenged you to create a poll for
the players, challenged you to create some actual data for
USA ultimate to chew rather than the armchair philosophy of
someone that is looking increasingly crazy and tangential. I
still haven't seen that poll, you haven't created that
data...and you still spend most of your time posting
tirelessly on here.

I'll come back in another couple of months...hopefully
you've shaved, cut your hair, took off the smelly clothes,
removed that aluminum foil hat off your head, cleaned up the
dogshit around your apt, drew back the blinds to let some
light into your place and gotten your shit together by then.

Original poster was spot-on.

The sport (like every sport) could use some refinement.
Frank and UltiCritic complain constantly, yet do nothing.

MikeG takes the correct approach. He thinks concept B would
be better than concept A (status quo) --> experiments with
it --> reports his findings --> incorporates it into a
tournament or league --> reports his findings. Maybe Mike's
changes get adopted by the rest of us - maybe 5 months from
now, maybe 5 years from now. Either way, Mike is going
about change the CORRECT way.

done that too. i mean, how woulf you think a spirit zealot
administration would react ti my "valid points". to get a clue go
checj the "why cant there be refs thread" and listen to feedback from
josh seamen, henry thorn and gwen ambler.

pffft, my shits been together......can i get a whitness. still
curious as to why i should be the one to single handedly reform this
sport when you have a governing body whos job that already is......or
should be. so shouldnt you be puttin the screws to them to fix it up
and apply some of my "valid points". aint nobody writing me a check
every year for dues. talk to the people you pay to administrate your
sport properly. untill then, know that i will be here critisizing
ultimates every move. shit, you should be thankful you got someone
like me around that tells it like it is.

SOME?????? dude, be for real, this sport needs a complete overhaul.
----------------------------------------------

> Frank and UltiCritic complain constantly, yet do nothing.

Complaining is doing somthing.......so is starting a whole new disc
sport........so is trying to launch 2 elite leagues with
refs.........so is being a critic.........so is being an extreem
advocate. and this dosent even include the contributions i made to
establishing the little rinky dink toen of wilmington into a hot bed
of ultimate
-----------------------------------------
>

then wy dont you follow in his footsteps......or praise him like you
should

. He thinks concept B would

man, that sound like THE EXACT THING governing bodies SHOULD
DO. ........but definitely not the role of a critic. ya see, the role
of a critic is to critisize......or praise. unfortunately usau does
nothing that really worth praining.........so they tend to get
critisized a lot.
-------------------------------------------------------

 Maybe Mike's

thats why i'm his biggest advocate. the wierd thing to me is why YOU
would rather critisize me rather that usau for not doing the same
exact things your saying I should do........especially when its THEIR
JOB.

ATE UP!!!!!!

Agreed. I had similar thoughts when I saw that tool show up
the ESPN comment thread. Frank, dude, get over it. The
dipshit can't even let the sport have five minutes in the
spotlight without becoming the turd in the pool.

HOW DO I GET TO THAT THREAD? ive always enjoyed watching stumbling
drunks ruining formal events. thing is, there aint a whole hell of a
lot thats formal about ultimate........and i cant imagine frank
ragging on ultimate any more than the espn "normal folk" would.

personally i think its funny that frank gets some of yall all "in a
bag" the way he does. as the hrd was saying this morning.......the
truth hurts.

The sooner everyone moves to the USA Ultimate forum, the sooner you
leave the crazies behind.

It's never easy to change. The USA Ultimate forum has a different
format than rsd that will take getting used to. And it will take a
while for USA Ultimate to create all the topic headings that we need.
But the more we use it, the quicker it will become what we want...
sans the Three Amigos!

Let's ignore for a moment the fact that a message board owned and
controlled by a single entity is in no way an adequate replacement for
a public newsgroup. Supplement, sure. Replacement? Maybe in North
Korea. But like I said, let's ignore that part for now.

Do you have to be a USAU/UPA member to get access to their forum? What
do you propose non-Americans do? Get left out? Join USAU? It's not
like USAU is targeted towards the entire worldwide ultimate community.
RSD, on the other hand, is.

(I would mention something about disc golf here, but really, who uses
RSD to talk about disc golf anymore?)

Also, I thought you gave up on RSD awhile ago. Maybe change really IS
hard...
