We at thisisultimate.com really don't have anything against Toad's
effort for refs....it's just his approach.
He currently isn't an asset to the sport of ultimate.
Truth is this exact same effort for refs has been going on for nearly
30 years in our sport.
Get your hands on publications from ~ 1978-79 and you can read the
long published columns for yourself.

"approach" then you could over look it and focus on my
"efforts".........and maybe put forth a little effort of your
own.......but instead you post assinine little mottos like......"where
observers are in and where refs are a myth" or some other gay shit

What does it take to be heard by the governing body of our sport? It
seems that you have a whole organization (thisisultimate.com) and you
just said that you don't have anything against his views, so is your
organization lobbying with the UPA to make changes for active calls in
our sport? If not, why not? Approach it better than Toad and DO
SOMETHING FOR YOUR SPORT! That is what Toad is trying to do and is
seems the only way to be heard is to yell.

Toad just whines on RSD and occasionally sends an e-mail or two.
There's a very simple procedure set up for submitting proposals to the
UPA Board (or appropriate committee). But instead of using it, Toad
just sits around complaining about how nobody at the UPA listens to

i think all hank wants is a cock in his mouth......as for colin, he
bought into all the sotg propaganda bullshit, has some kind of jesus
complex and on top of that has the ego to think that this hippy hybrid
reminance of ultimates traditional self officiated/sotg process i
commonly refer to as "refzervers" are a superior meathod of managing
sports comp. And if ya notice, hes usually the first to protest to
ANY evolution OR progression of his precious observers gaining more
"control" and responsibility. Hes a fuckin hater pure and
simple........where as dickhead & co are just your typical little
pansies that never could make a team as a kid or rode the pine. How
can ANYONE come to any other conclusion than "anybody opposed to the
use of refs in ANY SPORT has some definite "issues"????

was just announced with a goal of lots of donated time and little
profit ... people coach HS and College teams ... run clinics .... all
over the place people are doing things on their own dime ... that
being said making a little money to perptuate an organization is not a
bad thing either
