Below you will find the second instalment of the NUMP Rankings for the Women

Michigan is the only team with a #1 vote besides Stanford. Too bad
neither of these teams are going to Vegas. We won't get a chance to
see Michigan match up against other top 10 NUMP teams until Texas
Throwdown at the end of February, where they'll face up against Texas
and Wisconsin. And interestingly they don't appear to have any
scheduled matchups against west coast teams.
They have a pretty veteran team (with 8 grad students). How long
will they be able to keep their perfect record in tact? 10 Days to
QCTU where they'll put their record on the line against Top 20 NUMP
teams #11 Pittsburgh, #13 North Carolina, #16 Florida, #19 Georgia and
#20 Wake Forest.

they'll see west coast teams at Centex, no?

True, the teams for centex are not up anywhere, but it does say on the
Flywheel website that they're going.

This weekend NUMP Top 20 teams Wisconsin, Truman St and Iowa St make
their spring season debuts at Mardi Gras.

Wisconsin has an impressive number/caliber of tournaments lined up.

I am interested to see how good Texas is. They rolled the competition
at Florida Winter Classic, including a 14-4 win over #13 North
Carolina. As a west-coaster, I don't know what that game was like, and
if anyone has details I'd love to know, but that is an impressive
score. They will be at Vegas, and hopefully get some matchups with the
top West Coast teams.

kind of hard when you dont have any vegas results except who made
semis and finals...

Here are some random vegas results I remember (in no particular
order):

FRIDAY and SATURDAY
Washington over Texas
Washington over Carleton
UBC over Washington
Wisconsin over Oregon
Colorado over NYU

Texas, Berkeley and Oregon were all 3-3 on the first two days I
think. Which put them in the C bracket, even though their losses were
to A bracket teams. I don't know how the brackets were worked out.
Carleton was in the B bracket I think, not sure who else.

SUNDAY:
Quarters Teams were:
Ottawa over Washington
UBC over UCSB
UCLA over Colorado 12-11
Wisconsin over Illinois
(semis above)

Washington ended up 5th I think.

Props to #20 Wake Forest for winning Queens City. Rolling over #19
Florida 14-3, #16 Georgia 11-3, and in finals #13 UNC 10-5. The
weekend's only blemish was a crossover loss to Michigan 13-8. A finals
rematch against Michigan would've been nice, but they fell in semis to
UNC 10-3.

Look out for Ruckus in the AC.

All I know is Colorado (Ax):

Friday--
beat Western Washington
lost to Santa Barbara by 2
beat UC-Irvine

Saturday--
beat Northwestern
beat Oregon State
beat City College

Sunday--
lost to UCLA on universe
lost to UCSB by ~3

So, Colorado's looking pretty solid, I'd say.
