The championship was held during the week of August 26th to 31st in
Colchester, England, at the University of Essex on the same site as the
World Championships of 1986 and those in 1994.
All teams played round robin games to 18, the Women and Juniors played
double round robin. Semis and Finals were played to 21.
The finals' scores were Sweden : Finland 21 : 14 in the Open Division,
Netherland : Sweden 21 : 14 in the Women Division,
Sweden: England 21 : 11 in the Junior Division and Netherland : England 21 : 19
in the Master Division.
