Roll Call/Cultimate Discount

Both our Men's and Women's teams have attempted to contact cultimate
regarding the $200 discount from last years cancelled Roll Call
tournament. We wanted to know how to go about collecting our discount
and paying the right amount.

We finally got a response, only it was a mass email saying they were
opening up the waitlist and any team who pays first is now in the
tournament.

The only reason I wanted to take our team was because of the discount
and now we can't even seem to get that sorted out.

since last years tournament was bad i was hesitant to go again, the
upside was sanctioned games that we are struggling to fit in. Last
year, on the women's side at least, fields that were so small some of
the girls I coach who normally can't pull into the endzone on real
size field were able to bomb it out the back of some of the endzones,
and this was not the result of any significant wind gusts.

Anyone ever hear back about this discount?

I've tried contacting them over the last few weeks and
havent gotten a response yet. I've heard in another thread
that some people suggest sending a check in the amount that
you owe with a little note. I may have to try that approach

Last year's tourney was bad, Trouble in Vegas was bad, they are
overcharging you - why go?

Smaller tournaments thrown by local teams and colleges that actually
care just make more sense. They're more fun, you can meet other
teams, they'll throw you a party.

It's like eating local instead of eating McDonalds.
