Need Ladies Teams for D-III Nationals 2008

If you are a D-III school with a ladies team and would like to compete
against other D-III colleges in Versailles, Ohio on 5/24-5/25 from
(hopefully) all over the country. Please contact Jackie Howard at

Bids are $175, due May 7, 2008. There is space for 12 teams. Let me
know ASAP if you are interested!

I sincerely hope that a women's division of the D-III Nationals gets
off the ground this year. On the tournament's website I only saw
mention of the open teams that have expressed interest. Is there a
list of women's teams that are interested in going to? Publishing
that list could help in generating more buzz and interest among other
women's teams considering whether they want to be involved.

With such a cheap bid price in a relatively centrally located place, I
have a hard time imagining that there wouldn't be 12 women's teams
interested in finishing their season at this tournament.

I am just now trying to organize this event and would love to hear
from women's teams that are interested in going so that a list can be
generated - however the TD for the open bracket hadn't heard from any
women's teams besides mine, so please email me if you are interested
so that we can make a list and make this happen!

Franklin and Marshall
ONU (?)
