Has anybody heard much about this team? All I've heard is that they've
"drafted" a bunch of experienced players that graduated with a year or
two of eligibility left. Isn't that against some UPA rule? My friend
told me that they're spring-breaking in the Pacific Northwest; too bad
they won't find any good tournaments there... Would Cultimate not let
them into the Stanford Invite?

That's pretty much what I heard too. I think they might surprise a lot
of teams in the Southwest, especially since no one has really heard of
them. But I don't know about them playing in the northwest on their
spring break. I can't see why they would do that.

Wait, isn't University of Phoenix an online adult continuing education
institution with campuses all over the US? Does that mean that anyone
taking online courses could play for the team? What region would they
be in, given that they have campuses pretty much in every state and
some in Canada???

This team is totally bogus. No spirit, no athleticism, and no "great"
players. We play them quite a bit, and reign victoriously.

I heard that a lot of their players also play for the club team
Monium. I don't know if that's just hearsay though. But if it is true
then I think they could do a lot of damage at College Nationals.

I heard that two of the Monium handlers also played in the Kan-Jam
series last year, and won seven of their 11 games with instant wins on
opening shots. There's no way to prove it, since hackers took down
kan-jam.edu, but I would be wary of any Monium players.

University of Phoenix-Whitewater has been playing in the central
region for as long as I can remember. Their "students" have been
abusing the UPA eligibility for years. I played against this one guy
named Randy Wriggles for years, and even though he looks old enough to
be my father, he just ran out of eligibility last year. Dude has
something like 5 degrees from Phoenix-Whitewater - accounting,
criminal behavior, nursing, even graphic design. It's just ridiculous.

As a player from the University of Phoenix, I would just like to say
that we have never cheated and will never cheat when it comes to the
UPA guidelines. I think I'll do quite well with my aircraft mechanic
degree, thank you.

There's a University of Phoenix team signed up for Pacific's
tournament next week. Same crew?

I can vouch for these Phoenix guys. They're the real deal, all the
way.

We played them last year via WebCT and they thoroughly destroyed us.
As we were lining up at the end of the game one of their captains e-
spiked the disc at our e-feet and we all e-lost it and there was a
huge e-fight.
