observer.......
i like when the teams stop raising their hands when they are ready to
receive the pull. i like when they start leaning over and saying,
'we're ready', so that i can raise my flat open palm forward hand
straight over head and give the signal for them.
i liked, this weekend, that there weren't many disc taps or ground
taps. because....as soon as they had a pivot foot, the observer was
saying "stalling 1"
oh......the signal for an out of bounds pull that is beyond the brick
mark IS the classic 'brick' mark signal of two hands clapped and held
overhead for a moment. Then a straight arm, flat hand palm
perpendicular to the ground point towards the brick mark. i guess
that the thrower isn't BOUND to take the disc to the brick, but the
signal is showing their option, i guess.
a pull OB before the brick, should be spotted by a hustling
observer......
