I've read about a facility that was built by Ottawa players that is
reserved exclusively for ultimate. Can anybody tell me a little about
it, like the size, the cost to build it, and the existence of a
jumbotron? Pictures would also be cool.

IT's been written about here before and it has a website. Try google
and "ottowa ultimate" and you'll find lots of info.

Did you mean: "ottawa ultimate"? Just quoting Google ;)

As for the the original post - not sure what you're looking for but if
it's ultimate specific fields in general - you may also be interested
in looking at the Winnipeg Ultimate League fields built by the
Manitoba Organization of Disc Sports (MODS). 7 fields opened this
year with plans for at least another 2 in future years. Cost to date
has been on the order of $500,000 (almost all for actual construction
of fields/roads/parking/paths/fences; land costs were negligible, $1/
year lease from the city), paid mainly from a player-paid fields fund
but supported by grants from the city and provincial governments.

Some (somewhat dated) info is up here from fields proposal, before
they were actually built: http://mods.mb.ca/site/MODS/Fields-Proposal/index.php

As for Ottawa... they have a larger facility (UPI, Ultimate Park
Inc.), I believe 17 fields, and actually own the land as well. Your
best source of info would probably be someone at the OCUA (Ottawa-
Carleton Ultimate Association): http://www.ocua.ca

That sounds amazing. I think the reason I bring this up is because in
my limited experience, places to play ultimate are relatively few and
far between. Even in the middle of nowhere in Upstate New York, it's
a challenge to find a suitable site to host a moderately sized
tournament. Sure, there are plenty of fields, but it's remarkable to
me that an organization can be funded well enough to actually build
and maintain their own fields. I'll avoid the obvious hack at the
canadian dollar and just say that $500k isn't easy to come by no
matter which side of the border you are on. The closest thing I've
encountered in the states is Edgely in Philadelphia, which is great,
but the fields are small (fitting 5 is tight if I remember correctly)
and the fields aren't in the best condition. Sure, there are other
fields in Philadelphia, but having them all in one place is a great
way to build a real community. 17 fields blows my mind.

Those fields in Ottawa are amazing. We head up there for No Borders
every year and are never disappointed. The biggest problem they ever
have are the fields occasionally being too soggy from the irrigation.
I wouldn't use this as an exact quote, but I believe I was told a few
years ago that they have 100 acres purchased, 50 cleared, and about
half of those fields irrigated.
