That's the best thing, really? A root canal isn't ultimate
either. Apparently the best aspect of your sport is an even
tie with having a root canal.

So... root canal... or dischoops?

In fairness, I propose that we go deeper than a best vs best
comparison in order to judge this whole debate. What's the
worst thing about dischoops? Perhaps the worst thing about
a root canal is even worse than the worst thing about
dischoops. I do hope so.

Keep us posted, the fans want to know.

Do you know why there's no rec.sport.ultimate?

Because Ultimate isn't a sport.

rec.sport.disc is for dischoops.

Let's see;

Dischoops is a by far better workout than ultimate
Dischoops is far more entertaining than ultimate
Dischoops sets a much higher premium on disc handling skills than
ultimate
Dischoops was designed for competition, ultimate was designed
specifically to be anti-competitive
Dischoops is way more fun than ultimate
Dischoops encourages sound fundamentals, ultimate encourages slop
Dischoops has refs
Dischoops is dynamic, ultimate is stagnant
Dischoops promotes a much higher degree of spontaneous game time
creativity than Ultimate
Dischoops does not have the connotation of being a hippie sport
Dischoops does not have dogma associated with it, ultimate does
Dischoops is a sport, ultimate, as coined by one of it's inventors is
an anti-sport.
Dischoops is not run by a socialistic governing body comprised of the
same like-minded zealots that created the anti-sport in the first
place

There it is, superior on at least a dozen different levels. And in
each one of those levels, superior in many forms.

And on top of all of that, the best thing about Dischoops is that 'it
ain't ultimate'.

Play Dischoops.

It's extremely fun. We had a spectacular game in Golden Gate Park
Saturday. Just amazing.

jeremy, you should have been out at hippie hill saturday. Dischoops
is anything but tired or old.

As far as abrasive? I only speak the truth, it's not my fault it
pushes your buttons.

In how divorced from reality it all is, yes. In the obvious
projections of one's own failings on one's perceived opponents, yes.
And if that wasn't enough:

Dischoops is not run by a socialistic governing body comprised of the
same like-minded zealots that created the anti-sport in the first

place.

you and Frank are the Orly Taitzs of RSD.
