in Bne, noting that Oz don't have a flash cover fielder atm
Yep, because First Day of Ashes is the barometer for all test matches

Of course, it's not easy to define 'dead' for abstract / non-living
things
Even the telegram was officially dead only in 2006
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/06/technology/06telegram.html
Among the 9 test playing countries and the possible 36 combination of
Series, most of them are already dead (as in very few people watch
it). The following dozen are current survivors
Group I (These will be last one to die)
Aus vs Eng
Eng vs RSA
Aus vs RSA
Group II (as long Tendulkar and may be Sehwag plays and India is still
competitive in tests, there will be some following for the following
group)
Ind vs Aus
Ind vs Pak
Ind vs RSA
Ind vs Eng
Group III (depending on where it is played and the relative strengths
of the team and contexts, milestones, the following series currently
have a pulse)
Pak vs Aus
Pak vs Eng
Win vs Aus
Nzl vs Aus
Eng vs Win
Win vs RSA
The remaining 23 or so combinations, for all practical purposes, are
dead. For Sri Lanka, there will be some interest from their fans
whenever they bat, but like India their fans will definitely not watch
when the opposition is batting.
About 42% of what they'll get one month from today in Bleak City.
