Podmore's World of Cricket on Radio 4

Pod fans rejoice.
Radio 4 is airing a new Pod series, _Dave Podmore's World of Cricket_, on
Wednesday nights at 23:00 BST on Radio 4. Episode 3 tomorrow. The current
series sees Dave Podmore involved in promoting the Cricket World Cup. Pod
goes from Salt Lake City to Kandahar to opium dens in Beijing in search of a
good bargain.

"What are we looking for exactly?"

"Cheap labour, Andy. Kids out here who'll make you 20 pairs of cricket pads
for a couple of lentils. Works out about a pad a lentil."

"I hope we haven't come all this way just to exploit children."

"Certainly not. We're gonna hit the adult market as well. Ray Poole wants me
to put out some feelers about a Daewoo franchise. Help these poor people put
their lives back together."

"But... there aren't any roads."

"Thats where the Daewoo's unique suspension system comes into play, Andy,
offering you a comfortable ride at affordable prices in inhospitable terrain."
