Pathan has totally lost his pace and is bowling with speed in the 70s
now. In WI, you need to hit the deck at good speed to get something out
of the pitch.
I think this is what India's bowling order should be like:
Agarkar and Sreesanth to open the attack with the new ball
Pathan is 3rd seamer followed by the spinners.
You want your fastest 2 bowlers to open the attack, don't you?
Don
ps: Nehra should be recalled for tests(if he is fit)..he and Aggy
should definitely be in the test team to add experience to the attack
Don genius,
Here are SOME of your pearls of wisdom as recently as 2/24/06.
Don IIs comments:
I saw some wickets of Munaf Patel in the news. The stumps were sent
cartwheeeling of 2-3 English batsmen. Sheer swing and speed. He should
have been IN.

You want SreeSanth to open with Agarkar here and your comments about
SreeSanth on 2/24/06 reproduced verbatim.
Dons comments about SreeSanth on 2/24/06 follows.
*****His average speed was less than both Zaheer and Agarkar. In the last
ODI, there was an analysis on average speed during the post-session
show and Agarkar topped it with 132.9 kph followed by Zaheer with 132
kph. Sreesanth was in the 120s. Big deal. And he could not take wickets
even when he was given the new ball under seaming conditions in the
first few oneday matches. Stupid Chappell is also obsessed with Sreesanth
