A Pakistani commentator (Qamar Ahmed?) who works with ABC
Radio came up with an interesting trivia yesterday. He
said that Yosuf Youhana (a catholic) was the fourth
christian cricket to have played for Pakistan. Qamar also
gave the names, but hardly I could catch them. They
sounded something like, Sosa, McCain and Duncan Chow.
Duncan may be in Australia right now. I managed to find a
christian (sounding) name in the Pakistani list. This guy
was born in Goa, India. His name is Antao D'Souza.
Can someone fill the other two names?

Probably only other non-muslim to have played for Pakistan
was Anil Dalpath, a wicket-keeper.

There was Anglo-Pakistani cricketer (Phil Sharpe?)
who played for Pakistan.

OK.. That was Duncan Sharpe (not Chow as I heard).
Duncan must be alive. One of the ABC commentators
suggested that, 'Duncan may be listening to this broadcast'.

CI says:
An Anglo Pakistani, Duncan Sharpe was an aggressive right handed
batsman and was also an agile wicket-keeper. He played in only one
series against the Australians in 1959/60. In the first test at
Dacca he top scored in both innings. After this series he did not
represent Pakistan again. He emigrated to Australia in 1960 and
played for South Australia. ( Contributed by Umair Tariq and Abdul

I dont know if this has been mentioned in the thread, but I think
that Yousaf Yohanna is a Christian. I thought it was funny that
the Pak players kept calling him "Yousaf Beta" (son).

I also like the fact the Azharuddin would address Afridi as
"BaRay Bhai" (big brother).
