Sorry, I ran out of toilet paper

I have never seen Aussies rejoice like this to a ODI series win in
India. FYI, last time Aus lost a ODI series in India was back in 1986.
Perhaps, this
shows insecurities in the Ausssie fans regarding their team's ODI
status.
Don
They lost a tri-series in India in 1996 with India, SA and Aus.
But they have won ODI series since 1998.
Maybe more so, 'cause most of the first string are injured, and back at
home ? and we still beat Indias best....
After the Poms kicked the shit out of australia and sent them home as
losers.
No surprise given the mountains of shit you produce from every orifice.
You need some novel/new/personally developed material.
Perhaps you could buy 'Comedy for Dummies' on e bay ?

I guess amusing only to those fans who weren't aware of their bench
strength. Didn't Australia and Australia 'A' make it to the finals of
a tri-series ahead of England in the '90s? The gap between the first
XI and second XI in any country isn't as great as fans imagine it to
be. Does anyone think that those with JEE ranks 11-20 are so much
worse than those with ranks 1-10? The difference will only be a couple
of marks and for all you know the 20th ranked guy could even beat the
topper in a few tests.
Besides, the team that played in India was still the best available
Australian team at the moment. Talking about injuries after a win
makes as little sense as talking about it after a loss.
Mohan
More like very ungracious winners.

I think the difference between "Australia" and "Australia A" has
decreased substantially in the last few years. Not that long ago most
of the players in the team were high caliber match winners in their
own right. Now we really only have a minority as stand out players,
and rely on the rest of the team to know their roles and perform
them.
In that situation injuries to players is not as big a loss as it once
was.

Jealous of what? Aussie win? No, since the pattern of those teams
winning
who got to bat first on flat tracks is so much visible in this series
(and the
no-Champions trophy).
BTW, you are ignorant that many Indian fans like me want to see the
much
hyped Dhobi get a reality check...and i never rated Aussies as 2nd
best
even during their fall in the last season or so...when you people were
getting
the stick from SA and Eng fans after losses to them.
Don
You are cracking me no end. I clearly meant a bilateral series, dummy.
Don
Kicked the shit out of? ermm, ok
Dave,
if you can't take it, best not give it

"FYI, last time Aus lost a ODI series in India was back in 1986" is what you
said. Hey Don you didn't speak the truth
Blame the toss interesting theory, suppose it is better than blame the
Umpires for India's loss
Ahhh the singular Mr Higgs. Now giving advice he is unable to practice
himself!
"I'm going to do what I should have done several dozen posts ago and
not feed the trolls" Higgs
You are a very foolish person Mr Higgs.

Dave,

You should really practice what you preach, window licker....
I doubt that they'd be in the slightest bit interested.
But if you are going to play the agent provacateur/ungracious winner,
don't be surprised when you get a few replies.
In fact, surely that's why you posted, no?
But FWIW, what was your reaction to the England C team v Australia in
the 06/07 Ashes series?
Can you point us to some of your posts from that period?
Higgs
I doubt that they'd be in the slightest bit interested.

I said ODI series....it means bilateral series...i did not say ODI
tournament...clearly i expect people to have the brains to
differentiate
between the two.
Don
Actually in the 50 over ODI.. i'm pretty sure we beat England....
You're not a very clever chap.
Look at the class of players the Australian team has lost in the past 5
years and tell us they've been replaced. You'd have us believe debutantes
are just as good as 100-game veterans?
The series win was what it was; in the context of a long injury list it was
all the more remarkable.
And to be fair, only NSV fans could possibly be aware of our bench strength.
