his hundred, had cramps and had Somasunder as runner. 500
Ranji runs this season for R Vijay and 146 is his highest
score.
*** R Dravid 114 in 244 balls with 9 fours, this his 10th Ranji
century.
*** 3rd wicket partnership worth 262 runs and for Karnataka,
surpassing the previous record of 220 runs by B.P. Patel and
G.R. Vishvanath against Hyderabad in 1977-78.
*** Karnataka did not enforce the follow-on.
*** Joshi becomes the first player in Indian domestic cricket to
score 500 runs and capture 50 wickets in a season.
