In rumourland, everything from the MIvsRR match is being linked to
fixing. Below is stuff I heard today.
Dravid has been given out wrongly a few times in his career, but has
never reacted in this fashion even when it was in matches that were
more important rather than an inconsequential group match played when
RR has already qualified. The only reason why he reacted so badly to
the umpire's decision is because he had heard rumours about the fix,
had suspected that something fishy was going on and was convinced that
the bad decision was because the umpire was on the take.
It's unfair on the umpires Rauf and Asnani to be convicted "in the
court of public opinion", but then in rumourland, everything is
perfectly logical.
