Does anybody have any information on this player. I think he was
the coach for Railway Team for many years. Ijaz Ahmed
were one of his students.
Also another player who was the
captain for Government College Lahore 1965-66(not sure with dates)
and played Quaid-e-Azam trophy, his name was Shanawar Rashid Malik.
I have heard that he was damn Good Spinner and was a destroyer too.
But never played for PAKISTAN.
ANy feedback people.....

It is surprising that the pakistani batsmen generally score
double and triple centuries at home grounds.. Looks like they love
the
crowd there or it may involve the contribution of Shakur Rana and co. I
remember that when India played a test series in pakistan in 1977-78
which they lost 2-0 (it was kapli dev's debut series), there were many
high scores by pakistani batsmen but a just a year or two after that
when they visited India (under the captaincy of Asif Idbal), there was
hardly any display of good batting performance by the same team.. It has
been on many occasions.. This is very confusing whether it is their
batsmen or their umpires who bat well..

You conveniently "forgot" that the pitches in Pakistan are
some of the flattest in the world, unless they are under-
prepared.
Tanny
And now the facts.
It is the Indian team that is foremost in its reputation for an inability
to win away from home. Ask the Indian fans.
Last time the Pakistani team was in India, they did more than just sleep
with famous Indian women. They won the test series.
The highest Pakistani test score came against the West Indies, *in* WI.
Its all about Aquib isnt it?

On that particular tour by Pakistan (led by Asif), maybe the batsmen
didn't perform well because they may have been confused whether it was the
Indian bowlers or umpires who were bowling well.. :)

: And now the facts.
: It is the Indian team that is foremost in its reputation for an inability
: to win away from home. Ask the Indian fans.
I think that the Indian team has better record than Pakistan as far as
winning away from home is concerned. India won the world cup before
Pakistan did. India also won B&H in Australia in which all the seven test
playing (at that time) participated. India has won the Asia Cup every time
it participated. It also won won the Singer's cup held in Sri Lanka last
year. India used to win all the tournaments in Sharjah until...something
happened. I do not want to blame the crowd, Pakistani players or the
organizers. But, the last time India played Pakistan on a neutral ground
(I have my reservations about Sharjah) in Australia, India defeated
Pakistan despite Javed Miandad's mockery of Kiran More.
: Last time the Pakistani team was in India, they did more than just sleep
: with famous Indian women. They won the test series.
As far the test series is concerned, it was the match at the under
prepared wicket at Bangalore which decided the fate in which none other
Gavaskar could bat well. Also, as I expressed earlier country
other than Pakistan has Shakur Rana and company in the middle of the
field to help them out. Also, these countries have moral ethics so they
do not tamper the balls or try to bribe visiting team. Anyway, the match
which decided the fate was well poised until end and went Pakistan's way
for the lack of "good" umpiring decisions like in Pakistan.
As far sleeping with Indian women are concerned, I think you are talking
about the rumor involving cine star Zeenat Aman & Imran Khan. Let me
talk about Imran Khan. He may talk a lot about Allah and do things like
building a cancer hospital but as a person, I have my doubts about him.
He may be a good cricketer but he must be one of the sex starved
character in the history of cricket, who could hang his di** in every
hole that gave him alittle access. Finally he married a girl who was
almost as old as her daughter if he were married at the right time.Though
I do not know how true the rumor involving him with Zeenat was, but even
if it was totally true, I can say that he met his match. Zeenat has been
married twice and she is the so called modern Indian female who can do
such things. Anyway, the Indian film industry is well known for such
things, so I do not blame you for this. Anyway, off the records the "famous"
females that you have mentioned are not the true representation of the
Indian women. It is like Pakistani girls like Anita Ayub & Somi Ali
coming to India and baring all their assets (do they have some?) in India
for cheap popularity and surviving in the film industry do not represent
the actual Pakistani females and their outlook to life. I hope you
understand that we discuss cricket and not the personal lives on this
group.
: The highest Pakistani test score came against the West Indies, *in* WI.
When was it. & also a few good batting performance do not reflect the
actual : batting performance and cricketing ability. We are talking the
overall scenario.
By the way, it is not only Indians but all the fans over the world who do
not support Pakistani team think so. There is an enquiry about the ball
tampering in England, rumor about bribing in Australia & so on. But,
Zimbabwe is happy. I think the child team defeated Pakistan in a test
match by a convincing margin.
I would appreciate any sensible comments in this regard. Thanks.
BTW, this channel is supposed to be for Cricket as a game...not who
cricketers sleep with. How do you know that Indian players didn't sleep
with any Paki babe in Pakiland??? Stay within the limits and mention more
about the game.
Il Duce.
: Il Duce.
Excuse me SIR, Indians have never had a chance to be as famous as
Pakistanis. Take for example Khan, is there anyone as famous in all of
INDIA !
Coolio
Indian cricketers are much more modest than those paki braggarts....and u talk
about
khan: agreed he is a good allrounder, but is he in any way comparable to kapil
..and right now there is no single paki cricketer save akram who is in any
way comparable to anyone in the indian team, bowler or batsman. so save your
crap!
