WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO SHANE THOMPSON?

I'm just interested to find out where Shane Thompson is these days!! I don't
know if he's retired from all cricket, or he's playing somewhere, or what. It
just seemed as if he'd vanished from the New Zealand cricket scene all
together!!

Shane Thomson is now playing in Holland, as his career took a major nose dive (not
that he was ever _THAT_ good) in the shame of that ridiculous runout by Hansie
Cronje.
I gather he's hoping to play for their national side now and into the future.

He outgrew his kit and had to give up :-)
Last I heard, I think he was in Europe somewhere, following his girlfriend (an
Equestrian) around.
