The University of Michigan cricket club will begin its 1994
practice this weekend with a practice session on Mitchell field
on Fuller Road (near the U of M Hospital). *All* are welcome to come
and participate. Even if you are not a U of Michigan student, you
can become a member of the Cricket Club!
Throughout the summer we practice once a week and play regular games
in the Elbel Field (on the Central Campus) on a matting wicket.
The club has all the necessary cricketing equipment.
Last year the University of Michigan team made it to the final of
the Mid-West Tournament. As many of last season's players are not
going to be available this year, we would be building a new team.
The practice schedule is:
1st Practice: Sunday May 1. Mitchell Field. 11 AM
2nd Practice: Sunday May 8. Mitchell Field. 11 AM.
After that:
Friday, 5-8 Elbel Field (Hill and Diviosn), Starting
13th May.
Matches, Sunday 11-5.
So see all you cricket lovers there

Poor foot-work it seems, but good tail-work. See the tail pointing
downwards? Optimal for the square-cut, I would say. Perhaps even makes up
for the poor footwork.
Mahesh.
Hehehehehe. Thats why I put in the words "abstract impression" :)
In real life, I would also have trouble square-cutting to the *boundary* :)
