Harbhajan cleared of racist gestures
No surprise here at all.
As usual this was total CRAP from the AGP who have nothing else to do
other than be spooked by this mighty Indian team. They would whinge and
whine about murdering an Aussie insect even if Harby swatted a fly away
these days..........!!!
LOL!!
Laz
Next time Ponting scratches his balls, hope they [AGP] vilify him for
insulting the impotent.

Pity Procter wasnt around.
ponting has balls????
So, when Symonds was abused by crowds in India, he must have had a
part in it going by your explanation.
Do you have any facts to support your insinuation about Harbhajan?
>Larry it takes two to tango.
It probably does. There's not a single doubt in my mind that there
was a section of the crowd abusing him in some way. Perhaps he was
hamming it up, parodying his actions, who knows. It's hardly
worthy of punishment though. I'd almost guarantee he was dishing
out a lot less than the crowd was giving him.
I'm with Larry on this one.
Cheers,
Rod.
A professional sportsman should not allow the crowd to goad them into
potentially offensive behaviour. Murali has been (rightfully) copping
it for years down here but doesn't seem to affect him.

A professional sportsman shouldn't be subjected to abuse from the
sidelines.
Cheers,
Rod.
How do you stop crowds from abusing players?
Evict them.
Cheers,
Rod.
It's a bit hard/ridiculous to evict an entire crowd for telling a
bloke to get a haircut.
I doubt the entire crowd was asking Harbhajan to get a haircut.
Clearly he was copping abuse from those in the vicinity. Do you
think it's right that sportsmen should be subject to abuse from
the crowd?
Cheers,
Rod.
Then you and the rest of the Aussies stop complaining when Indian crowds
abuse you Aussie pussies when you sissies visit India later this year.
>>ponting has balls????
Ponting has his wife's balls.
Of course it's not, but it's not like you'll have sizeable crowds at
games if you ban spectators from saying 'show us your reference
section' to a player.

I'd accept that 'get a haircut' to any player but Harbhajan would
have been acceptable. However, if you think that's all the crowd
was saying to him, I have a bridge on the harbour I'd like to sell
you.
Cheers,
Rod.
The poster with whom you are corresponding illustrates the real problem
perfectly. Which is not the practicalities of throwing out large sections
of the crowd, but that he doesn't believe the chant was offensive in the
first place.
Andrew
You could be right. While I don't know much about the Sikh religion,
it's obvious to me that asking one to get a haircut would be rather
offensive and clearly the reason why it was used.
Cheers,
Rod.
If you don't know much about the Sikh religion, how could it be
obvious?

Well, gee.. the fact that they never cut it would be a clue.
Cheers,
Rod.
It's not even obvious that they don't cut their hair unless you've
read a bit about it. It's under a turban

I know they don't cut their hair, so would most people I would
expect, otherwise they wouldn't be yelling 'get a haircut'.
Cheers,
Rod.
If you knew anything about Australians, you would have some idea of
how incorrect that statement is. A bald man will cop 'get a haircut'
because there is no worthy comeback, only frustration with the
treatment they're getting.
You have dechucka junior on your hands.

Oh, of course. That's why a group of people are yelling it to the
only sikh on the park. :\
Cheers,
Rod.
He wears a condom on his head and looks ridiculous.
Darkfalz,
I will pay you $100 Australian if you approach Harbhajan or any other
Sikh and tell them they look ridiculous with that condom on their heads.
It's obvious to everyone here that *you* know nothing about the
Sikh religion. So here's an article that will hopefully enlighten
you.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kesh_%28Sikhism%29
Quote-- "Kesh is considered the most important of the Five Ks.
At the Amrit Sanchar in 1699, Guru Gobind Singh explained the
reason for this :
My Sikh shall not use the razor. For him the use of razor or
shaving the chin shall be as sinful as incest. For the Khalsa
such a symbol is prescribed so that a Sikh cannot remain
undistinguishable from among a hundred thousand Hindus
or Muslims; because how can he hide himself with hair and
turban on his head and with a flowing beard?
So important is Kesh that during the persecution of Sikhs
under the Mughal Empire, followers were willing to face
death rather than shave or cut their hair to disguise themselves
or appease the Khan. Bhai Taru Singh was executed for refusing
to cut his hair as an offering to Zakaria Khan, the governor of
Punjab, in 1745. He became a martyr and a symbol of the
importance of Kesh." -- Unquote.
It should pretty obvious from the Wikipedia article about the
significance of hair (kesh) to the Sikh religion. On second
thoughts, if you're still in doubt, try asking a group of young
Sikhs in Toronto/London/Delhi whether they would like to have
a haircut. You would probably be lucky to escape alive.

Though, a lot more acceptable than you do, I'm sure.
Cheers,
Rod.
Well if the other Indians attest to never receiving a similar taunt,
you have a point. Unfortunately, it's just so exceedingly unlikely.

Let me get this straight, if other Sikh's were to suggest in this
thread that they don't get taunted with 'get a haircut', I have a
point? You seem to be confused.
How about you ask a Sikh as to whether being asked to get a haircut is
offensive?
What's next, asking a muslim if he's happily dry your dishes?
Cheers,
Rod.
>What's next, asking a muslim if he's happily dry your dishes?
he'd... :\
Cheers,
Rod.
No, the other Indian cricket players ie. not Sikhs. Shit mate.
$100 Australian? That's not exactly big money. But I'd tell him that
for free.
Give it your best shot. But before you do that please make sure
you tell your family members your last good byes, you know the
standard "I love you honey", I love you Dad, I love you mom,
I love you kids" stuff
a "hair" comment to a sikh would be considered 10 x more offensive to
calling them a black c***!
Harby must be your dad then because its obvious by your birth that he
didn't have a bloody clue as to where it should have been worn........He
must have been spewing....!!
Bloody bigotted shit.
Laz
Rod if this dude R. Spanditt's brains were choocolate, he wouldnt have
enough even for a smartie.........:-)
LOL!!
Laz
Or have a pork curry....!!!
Laz
I will give you $101 if you are brave to tell the Indian cricket team and in
front
of their fan in India that they are dumb f*** Indian slaves you claim them
to
to be in your post in this group. I am sure they won't burn you effigy....

Indians on this newsgroup except the western worshipping slaves Don,
Geico Caveman et al are smart enough to comprehend simple English
I write and that my anger is directed at the idiots who shamelessly suck
and think the western countries are paragons of virtues that have great
respect for human rights, freedoms and civil liberties.
I already educated them with my logical posts that you fuckers are nothing
but pathologically lying, cunning born sissies and pussies.
Another proof of the cunning of you forked tongues pussies is the way
you are TWISTING my comments to MANIPULATE the Indians on rsc
to think that I am attacking Indians.
It WONT WORK anymore, stalking psychopathic clown John.
Not interested in your politcial believes and opinions.

So does you logical post including the ones that you claim you are an ape or
you'd rather be an ape than something else.... If that is some of your
logical
posts than your logic may deem appropriate for an ape but certainly not for
a human...

Evidence ? You claim you are an ape that is in your own post and you also
claim Indian cricketers are F***ing Indian slaves those are your own word
no twisting and no manipulating and they are there for the others to see.
