This is going to be a very interesting fight
tonight. On the one hand, Diaz has the confidence
of his last 'victory' over Pauli. On the other,
Pauli is out to prove something.
I like Paulie to go the distance and take
a decision victory. He's not a KO artist, but
he knows how to box.

Two things were proven in this fight. First, Pauli really did win the
first fight. Second, Juan Diaz has no business fighting at that
weight.

Well, you pretty much got what you predicted.
Personally, I think Paulie won the first meeting with
Diaz...so this was a good redemption for him...even
though I'm not a fan of (Motor Mouth) Malignaggi.
He needs to quit all the lame showboating and just
fight.

Hell, man....he's a New Yawker. Seriously, in my opinion,
boxing needs real characters like that. Love 'em or hate 'em,
they put butts in seats.

I'm also talking about the lame showboating in the ring
when he should be fighting. Hell, he could have probably
knocked Diaz out if he didn't showboat in the ring for 25
seconds after hurting him with a good punch.

It seemed like half the crowd was booing Malignaggi in Chicago
to me.

He staggered Diaz with a punch and Diaz was clearly hurting.
Malignaggi chose to showboat and mug for the cameras instead
of going in for the KO. I think the commentators were right...
Malignaggi so infrequently staggers an opponent, he didn't
know what to do when he did.

him when he hurt him...instead of dancing around and hamming

Yes, and he publicly acknowledged his mistake
in an interview after the fight. I agree tho,
the face-making is ridiculous and disgusting,
not to mention a sign of immaturity.
