HBO was the winner!!! Both fights wer edge of the seat affairs.
Wayne was incredible for a great & educating night of boxing with
applause to Mr Zaragoza who still has what it took to gain the belt.

As my husband noticed, the opening side boob shot of the ring girl
dressing to open the show.

Boston was a class act to hold this bout, as Nashville failed in the
true feeling of boxing.

I want to just grab that dead animal that curled up on Alpert's
forehead as it seems to be getting more decrepid as weeks go on. On our
55", it hangs there ready to fall off into Alpert's lap as he reads his
notes, and I am set to throw it back into the street where it belongs.
That bugs me more than our favorite drunk on HBO. We know there were
plenty of flasks in Boston.

But Showtime's night was a BORE!!! Akinwande should have had that
loser out cold by round 2, but it seemed like King & his Nashville
jacket from Dollywood Theme Park for $29.95, was tipping the fighters
to keep it going for an hour per bout so they could keep the viewers
til HBO went on the air. When Henry kept going & going, around &
around, throwing -0-, I knew it was going to be a long evening.

Maybe 6PM ET was too early to wake these guys up!!!

But the ALL TIME WORST was that DAWG fight the Irish gal. My god, she
had starched hair & the bushes under her armpits had me wondering if we
were to be watching a "La Cage" reject. Don King really went out of
his way to get her.

Again, I applaud HBO on a great night of boxing with a great group of
announcers including Roy & his expertice.

Hey Brenda

You didn't mention the best part, Merchant decking that goon during the
post fight interview.

In my role as no. one Don King fan in the European American community, I
hate to agree with you, but HBO was better on this night. However, Don
King is still the most exciting interview in boxing.

Joe

PS Did I ever mention how much I love TheAwesome1 as your e-mail address?

I was at the Nashville fight and I really felt sorry for the girl who
got beat up by Gogarty. This was a huge mismatch that never should have
happened. If Christy Martin had fought Gogarty it would have been a
battle like it was last year. Overall the bouts were substandard.
